Faster than light drone tier list. Its a surprisingly small tweak because of how limited you are but it makes the ship so much more fun to play.

Ftl drone tier list. Now this list is split into two starting weapons and store weapons. Again its most similar to the lanius a and the slug c the two other ships in ftl that also start with hacking. The one exception in amazing tier would be the pike beam and thats because its fairly easy to get something to break through shields and the trade off is immense. The endgame of this tiers list is a mod to tweak a few of them ive already been playing an engi b with a an extra drone slot and a vanilla boarding drone. Is how i would rate them. The weapons at the top of the list are consistently effective in almost any ship set up.
Yes i know im years late but i only really got into ftl a year ago and i finally feel ive played it enough to create my own weapon tiers. Quadrant view view community rank. I find engi c to be the weakest of the lot. This is a tier list. Now despite everything just mentioned this ship is still above average on the tier list and thats because the hacking drone control combination truly does offer a lot of value. This is not an alignment chart.
Starting weapons can only be found aboard the ship that has them i include crystal weapons because getting to the crystal sector to buy them is an extremely rare and difficult. Since ftl is a game of rng you want to minimize any variance as much as possible. Basically defence drones are great as they protect you from missiles and save you on repairs.
